Clickable prototypes: show it, don't describe it.

For founders and Swiss SMEs: a clickable prototype of your idea on your project page, so you can decide before your software is built.

Why a prototype. You see and try the look and feel of your software before the build begins.

A prototype is clickable but has no database behind it: it shows how your software will look and how it is used. You can change how it looks while it is still a prototype, and the data and the features come in the build.

One of our products: Valrano.

Valrano is one of the many products we have built: financial benchmarking for listed companies, against their peers.

How it works. The first two of our five steps, then your review.

  1. Define.

After your first contact, we write down with you what the prototype has to show, or we work from a document you already have. Together we also decide how far it goes, from a quick draft to a polished prototype.

  2. Design.

We make the prototype and put it at its own link. Before we show it to you, we check how it looks on a computer, a tablet and a phone.

  3. Review.

You open it on your project page and click through it. Then you approve it, or tell us what to change.

What the prototype gives you. Your software to click through before it is built, and a design to build from.

  • A prototype you can click through. It sits at its own link, and you open it from your project page with your own login.

  • A design to build from. Once you approve it, it is the design your software is built from.

  • Then the build. If you go ahead, your software is built as a first version or all at once, with its database and its features.

How the price is set.

You get a fixed price in a written offer. Nothing is built until you agree to it.

Questions.

Prototype or MVP?

A prototype is clickable and has no database behind it: it shows how your software will look and how it is used. An MVP is working software with a database, used behind a login by the people you invite and measured against one number.

Is a prototype part of every project?

Yes: in the Design step, before we build, every project gets a prototype. You can also start with the prototype alone and decide on the build once you have tried it.

Who can open the prototype?

It opens only for people signed in to your project page, so it is not public. It sits there at its own link, next to the other documents of your project.

What does a prototype cost?

It depends on what the prototype has to show and how far it goes. You get a fixed price in a written offer, and any change beyond the agreed scope is priced before it is built.

Tell us about your project. Send us a message and we will get back to you.
